Please refer to the USA Softball Code Age Eligibility Chart to determine which age your team/player is eligible to participate.

A player’s age, as of December 31, 2023, determines the age at which the player is eligible to play the following year.

  8-Under Age Classification – player, born after December 31, 2013, is ELIGIBLE.
10-Under Age Classification – player, born after December 31, 2011, is ELIGIBLE.
12-Under Age Classification – player, born after December 31, 2009, is ELIGIBLE.
14-Under Age Classification – player, born after December 31, 2007, is ELIGIBLE.
16-Under Age Classification – player, born after December 31, 2005, is ELIGIBLE. ( Includes Junior Olympic GOLD ).
18-Under Age Classification – player born after December 31, 2003, is ELIGIBLE ( Includes Junior Olympic GOLD ).

Players of younger age classification may play in older age classifications, but an older age classification player may not play in the younger age classification.

2024 Championship Play Season - Junior Olympic Age Qualifications. (September 1, 2023 – August 31, 2024) A player’s age as of August 31, 2023, determines the age in which the player is eligible to play the following year.

  Players of younger age classification may play in older age classifications, players may not play in the younger age classification.
