About USA Softball of DFW


USA Softball of DFW is an affiliation of USA Softball, the National Governing Body of softball. We are one of 68 associations in the United States. USA Softball of USA Softball of DFW covers territory from North Texas. This includes the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.

Youth Program
The USA Softball youth program, also known as the Junior Olympic program, is among the nation's largest youth sports organization. Over 80,000 teams, 1.3 million players and 300,000 coaches participate in USA youth softball on an annual basis. USA Softball of  USA Softball of DFW  registers 5,000+ youth participants on a yearly basis.

 The USA Softball youth program in DFW provides recreational and competitive opportunities for girls in the fast pitch arena. Whether a player views softball as a new sport to learn, as a way to have fun with friends, or as a path to the Olympics, the USA Softball of DFW  youth program has something for them. Foremost, the goal of the USA youth program is to help aspiring young softball athletes learn a sport they can enjoy for a lifetime in a positive, safe, and supportive environment.

Adult Program
The USA adult program has served as the softball community since 1933. With over 80,000 teams and 1.2 million players involved on an annual basis, the adult program is one of the largest program within USA Softball. 

In the USA Softball of DFW  area, we play host to over 3,000 adult participants each year. USA Softball provides varied programs of competition for adults including fast pitch, slow pitch and modified pitch for men and women.

Umpire Program
The USA Softball umpire program is among the nation's largest officiating organizations with over 40,000 officials actively involved each year. USA Softball officials are nationally recognized as the best trained and proficient in the sport and are involved in competition starting with league play, city, state and national championships. Ultimately, USA Softball umpires have the opportunity to officiate events such as world championship, Pan American and Olympic competitions.
